As a charity organisation we rely heavily upon the success of funding applications, fundraisers, one-off donations and monthly standing orders from individuals who value to work that we provide. This income is then offset against our annual operational budget - encompassing admin, core costs, projects costs and fundraising costs.
The question you might ask is, "why are you asking for donations?" Simply, the staff of The Net Youth Project are required to raise 30% of their annual salary, which can be raised in a variety of ways. The most effective vehicle is recruiting monthly standing orders - they are the bread and butter of many charity organisations, they are the contributions that we rely on month in, month out. As well as covering salaries, these donations contribute to our programme development, which in turn shapes our provision for our primary stakeholders; the young people.

* One-Off Donation - Make a donation as and when it suits, specified or unspecified. Simply get in touch, call into the centre, or use the bank details provided.
* Collection Box - Donate using a small personal collection box for your home, which offers supporters with a less formal option, or for those who which to give less regularly.
* Leaving an eternal legacy - A gift in a will, whether large or small, can make a big difference to our work in Comber. Gifts made to charities are often exempt from inheritance tax, currently set a rate of 40% to HMRC.
